India's
100 Richest Billionaires
Forbes
Magazine does a signal service to all ambitious persons across the world. You
may be anywhere, in any part of the world, Forbes tells you annually, who the
richest in the world are, who the richest in each country are and how they got
their riches.
The
Year 2014 saw the magazine declaring its annual 100 richest persons from India
as ALL BILLIONAIRES.
A
good lot of the credit for the rise of the rich to the status of Billionaires
must go to the Narendra Modi Government and the faith all Investors put in Narendra
Modi as India’s Prime Minister.
India’s
stock Markets gained 28% since January
this year though the economy itself is still growing at a sluggish pace. This
shows the confidence of all investors in future – a future driven by Narendra
Modi and his Ministers.
Mukesh
Ambani TOPS the list for the 8th consecutive year with a net worth
of $23.6 billions. Up by $2.6 billion from last year.
Dilip
Sanghvi of Sun Pharma has overtaken steel Baron Lakshmi Mittal and occupies
No.2 space this year. The acquisition of Ran Baxy for $ 4 billion saw his fortune rise by $4.1
billion to the level of $ 18 billion.
Azim
Premji also moved from No.4 to No.3.
The
Biggest dollar gainer is Gautam Adani, who jumped 11 spots from last year to 11th
position in 2014. He added nearly $ 4.5 billion to reach $7.1 billion this year.
As
many as 85 out of the 89 who returned to the list from last year’s list are
wealthier this year.
There
are eight first timers in the list. The biggest loser this year is Indus Gas
founder Ajay Kalsi (No. 85, $1.15 billion), who lost $1 billion after the
government stalled an increase in the nation’s natural gas prices
The
minimum amount required to make into the list was $1 billion, up from $635
million last year. With this record minimum net worth this year, 11 from last
year fell off, including tycoons Brij Bhushan Singal and Vijay Mallya.
Are
the richest 100 in the list – in the lst because they are extremely
industrious, extremely intelligent or extremely lucky? Perhaps a combination of
all three factors. But, the three factors are extremely important in the SAME
ORDER. One must be industrious, intelligent – and then luck comes one’s way
automatically, following the LAW OF ATTRACTION.
Congratulations
to all winners of 2014. May their tribe increase by leaps and bounds in the
coming years. Ambitious Investors are advised to read Mags like Forbes, which provides huge, enriching Information every month.
