Net Sales at Rs.148.11 cr is higher than QE Mar 11, by 14.5%; QE Dec10 by 13.74% ; and QE SEP 10 by 18.94%.
Total Expenditure at Rs.126.59 cr is higher then QE Mar 11 by 9.78%; QE Dec 10 by 8.19% and QE Sep 10 by 13.43%.
Profit from Operations at Rs.22.50 cr – is higher than QE Mar 11 by 46.77%; QE DEC 10 by 58.01% and QE SEP 10 by 59.46% .
Profit before tax at Rs.26.49 cr –is higher than QE Mar 11 by 44.83%; QE DEC 10 by 71.68%; and QE SEP 10 by 73.14%.
Net Profit at Rs.18.62 cr – is higher than QE MAR 11 by 44.45%; QE DEC 10 BY 59.69%; and QE SEP 10 by 73.53%.
Thus, Hindustan Media Ventures is clocking impressive Growth rates in all the above quarters.
Basic EPS for Q1 FY 12 is Rs.2.54 on a Face Value of Rs.10; Rs.1.76 for QE Mar 11; Rs.1.59 fro QE Dec 10; and Rs.1.52 fro Q# Sep 10.
At this rate , the annualized EPS for FY 12 will be Rs.2.54 x 4 = 10.16 or more. At the current MP of Rs.134, the PE Ratio is 13.19.
The company seems to be a good investment for medium to long term investors – looking at its impressive Growth Rates.
