Mphasis has been improving its performance consistently. Its results are available for the latest Half year (Nov 2009-April2010) which is given below. The percentage improvement over the performance of the year, Nov,2008 to Oct 2009 is compared after doubling the half yearly results notionally and given in the 3^rd column. Since the accounting year has changed, comparison of available years and half years intervening etc is made in the table below

This comparison reveals the improvement as below :

Net Income has risen in the latest half year by 13.58%.

 Net Profit has risen by 18.94%

Basic EPS for the latest half year is Rs.23.74 whereas the same for the last full year was Rs.40.02. This implies an increase of 18.64% in the latest half year. Current year EPS should therefore be around Rs.48 on a face value of Rs.10. The consolidated EPS for latest Half year indicates that consolidated results for the full year will be much better – yielding an annual EPS of around Rs.52.

Its current market price is around Rs.182. Its current PE ratio works out to 3.79 – which appears to be quite LOW.

MphasiS is set to acquire Fortify Infrastructure Services, and capture its offshore Remote Operations Management (ROM) market.

08-04-2010        Mphasis Limited has informed the Exchange that the Company has, on April 08, 2010, reached a definitive agreement to make a 100% purchase of Fortify Infrastructure Services, a global provider of offshore based Remote IT Operations and Management (ROM) Services. In this regard, a Stock Purchase Agreement (SPA) has been signed by Mphasis and Fortify Infrastructure Services on April 08, 2010. The transaction is subject to legal and statutory requirements.
