LAKSHMI MACHINE WORKS  has declared its results for the quarter ending Sep,2012.

HIGH LIGHTS

Net Sales for Q2 FY 13 stands at Rs.458.79 Cr; up by      8.19% from Q1 FY 13 (Rs.424.06 Cr); and down by -18.28% from Q2 FY 12 (Rs.561.41 Cr).

Total Expenditure for Q2 FY 13 stands at Rs.437.15 Cr; Up by 7.31% from Q1 FY 13 (Rs.407.36 Cr); and down by -16.02% from Q2 FY 12 (Rs.520.54 Cr).

Profit before Intt, Dep. & Taxes       for Q2 FY 13 stands at Rs.21.64 Cr; up by 29.56% from Q1 FY 13 (Rs.16.70 Cr); and down by -47.04% from Q2 FY 12 (Rs.40.86 Cr).

Net Profit for Q2 FY 13 stands at Rs.30.64 Cr; down by -1.16% from Q1 FY 13 (Rs.31 Cr); and down by -37.76% from Q2 FY 12 (Rs.49.24 Cr).

Diluted EPS for Q2 FY 13 stands at Rs.27.2; compared to Rs.   27.52 in Q1 FY 13; and Rs.43.7 in Q2 FY 12.

The performance in Q2 FY 13 is therefore below par – compared to preceding & corresponding Qtrs both.
