Q1 fy 2013
Godfrey Phillips India Limited has declared its results
for the QE June 2012. The Company manufactures different Premium Brand
cigarettes, Tea, Pan Masala etc.
The High Lights of the latest Results are as below :
Net Sales
stands at Rs.474.56 Cr in Q1 FY 13; down by
-14.5% compared to Q4 FY 12(Rs. 555.01
Cr); but up by 11.6% compared to Q1 FY 12 (Rs.425.22 Cr).
Total Expenditure stands
at Rs.441.96 Cr in Q1 FY 13; down by -12.92% compared to Q4 FY 12 (Rs.507.56
Cr); but up by 27.36% compared to Q1 FY 12 (Rs.347.01 Cr). Expenditure on YoY
Basis has increased very steeply, which has pulled down the Net Profits YoY.
Also, compared to Q4 FY12 (previous Qtr), sales itself is down and Profits are
also down QoQ.
Profit before Interest, Dep. & Taxes stands
at Rs.32.60 Cr in Q1 FY 13; down by -31.3%
compared to Q4 FY 12(Rs.47.45 Cr); and down by
-58.32% compared to Q1 FY 12 (Rs.78.21 Cr).
Net Profit stands
at Rs.28.03 Cr in Q1 FY 13; down by -33.25 compared to Q4 FY 12(Rs.41.99 Cr); and
down by -55.11% compared to Q1 FY 12 (Rs.62.44Cr).
Diluted EPS in
Q1 FY 13 stands at Rs.26.96; compared to Rs.40.38 in Q4 FY 12; and Rs.60.04 in
Q1 FY 12.
